Every year I always seem to really look forward to Valentine's Day. I know that people say that everyday your loved ones should be celebrated and it shouldn't be a holiday but lets be realistic... adulting is hard - , it's exhausting and busy. In the hustle and bustle of everyday life when dividing your time between work, healthy meal planning, school events & practices, family time and self care we often don't have time to stop and appreciate our partners in crime. Often times we see each other sparsely and sometimes not even at all. At the end of the day we collapse in bed together out of pure exhaustion for a few short hours before we start it all over again. That is precisely why Valentine's Day is so special. Who doesn't look forward to a dressy date and dinner? Its a time to stop and do something special to appreciate each other and that is a beautiful thing.
